How to Remove the Run Command from Windows XP

This tutorial will remove the “Run” command from your “Start” menu in Windows XP.

1. Right-click on the “Start” and select “Properties” from the context menu.

2. Click on Customize under “Start menu ” tab.

3. Select “Advanced” tab in the “Customize Start Menu” window.

4. Under Start menu items: Browse for “Run Command.” and Remove the check mark from the box next to it.

5. Click “OK” for changes to take effect.
