Disable User Account Control (UAC) in Windows 7

If you are running Windows 7 / Windows 8, go to the UAC settings in Control Panel, and drag the slider down until you see “Do not dim the desktop”.

1. Click start
2. Control panel
3. User Accounts
4. Change User Account Control Settings
5. Drag the slider down until you see “Do not dim the desktop”.
