Bring Back Last Opened Tabs in Chrome and Microsoft Edge

How to bring back last opened tabs in Microsoft Edge or Chrome? These questions are asked frequently by the user who goes under the trauma of closing the MS Edge tabs “accidentally”.  Luckily there is a way that you can get back those same tabs, so you don’t have to go around and search all of them again.

This function works differently in both browsers i.e.  if you open up the Microsoft Edge browser and then try to reopen a tab that you closed earlier by accident. But same won’t work if you try that from Google Chrome.

In MS Edge if you were to right-click on the extra space to the right side of the opened tab, you wouldn’t find any option to reopen the last opened tab. Instead, you just need to click on the currently opened tab.

Just to get it work that doesn’t mean you need to lose what you have opened on your screen now. Instead of this, open a new tab and then click on the new tab. When you are done, right-click on the already opened tab and then choose the “Reopen closed tab” option from the menu.

Just like all browsers, if you will take a look at the right side of the tab that you would open, you’ll notice additional space.

If you are using Google Chrome, you just have to right-click on this empty area to bring up a drop-down menu. Press right-click on the space and then click on the “Reopen closed tab” to open the tab that you had opened.

if you are unable to retrieve tabs by performing aforementioned option then there is one last way to save your time. Simply just go to “History”.

Under “Recently Closed” options there will be details of the pages which you have used recently. Click on the desired ones to reopen the tabs.
