Stop Call of Duty Black Ops from Disconnecting

Why do i keep disconnecting from black ops? I play a game 20 seconds later it disconnects. this has happend around 30 times today?

List of ports to forward:

Nintendo Wii – TCP [443, 3074] UDP [3074, 3075]
PC – TCP [3074] UDP [3074]
PlayStation 3 – TCP [80, 81, 443, 3074, 5223] UDP [3074, 3075, 3478]
Xbox 360 – TCP [80] UDP [88, 3074]

In case you open the proper ports and they dont work then you should try this method.

Im using a linksys Router. as you can see from all my video tutorials that my prefered Router is a linksys router.
Here is what I did to prevent Call of duty from disconnecting my internet and it worked. (using Linksys Router)

Step 1:
Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer.

Step 2:
Go to the Address bar and enter your router’s IP address (“192.168.1.1” is the default IP of most Linksys routers) then press

Step 3:
A new window will prompt for a User name and Password. Leave the User name field blank then enter your router’s password (“admin” is the default password), then click OK.
Or User name Type  Administrator and Password type Admin

Step 4:
Go to  security Tab select Firewall then make sure all filters are unchecked and save settings.

Step 5:
Go to Aplication and gaming tab select Qos . then do this

  1. Internet Access Priority = Enabled
  2. Category select online games
  3. Game = Counter Strike
  4. Priority = High
  5. click on Add Button
  6. Save settings

The reason for selecting caounter strike instead of COD Black ops is because I read an article that counter strike also uses Steam so by adding counter strike it will open the proper ports automatically.

Done!

Note: if  by any chance you get disconnected aggain go back to step 4 and dissable spi firewall protection.

Please leat me know if after this configuration it keep disconnecting you from the game or internet.
