Change taskbar color and make transparent – Windows 11

Users of Windows 11 who want to make their taskbar invisible on their devices may also do so. The operating system contains a feature that allows you to apply a transparent appearance to windows and the taskbar, but it is not a full-transparency effect.

Additionally, you cannot alter these settings until Windows 11 is active.

Change taskbar to transparent

Press Windows + I to open Settings.

Select Personalization and click on Colors.

Toggle on the option for Transparency effects to turn it on.

Change taskbar color

Go to your Settings.

Click on Personalization and select Colors.

You may choose between Light, Dark or Custom in the Choose your default windows mode option.

Under the Accent color, select Manual.

Choose any color that you want.
