Clean Install Windows 11 Without USB

To install Windows 11 on a machine that is currently running Windows 10, you do not need a bootable USB flash drive or the Media Creation Tool. Simply mount the ISO file in File Explorer and start the upgrade procedure from there.

While you’re more likely to utilize the Media Creation Tool or a bootable USB flash drive to execute an in-place upgrade or a clean installation, you can also use the Windows image mounting feature to load the ISO file and run the Windows 11 setup.
