How to Create Windows 11 USB Recovery Drive

There are many ways you can recover Windows 11 if something goes wrong. It has advanced startup options that help you to recover Windows with a lot of conveniences.

You can use the media that comes with your PC or you can create a recovery disk using a USB drive.

In this article, I will explain how you can create a Windows recovery disk on a USB Drive.

Create Windows 11 USB Recovery Drive

Click on the start menu and type recovery drive, click on the Open on the right-hand side to open the Recovery Drive creation wizard.

Make sure that Back up system files to the recovery drive is checked and then click Next.

The system will scan your PC for the attached USB drive. Once listed, select your USB drive and click on Next.

The wizard will warn you that all of the data on the USB drive will be deleted.

If you are ok with it, click Create to start creating the recovery drive.

This will start the process of recovery drive creation. You will see the recovery drive creation process.

Once done, click on the Finish button to close the process.

Your USB drive is now your recovery drive.

Once you are done with the Recovery boot disk creation process, you can boot Windows 11 with Advance Options and troubleshoot the problem.
