How to Download and Install Spotlight on Computer
Spotlight is a tool used to analyzed the computer performance in real time with a graphical view.
Which make is very easy to understand the data flow of the process running. Its a free tool and you get a free license for one year. Which can be taken again if expired.
To download the tool go to Quest and click on Download Free Trial Button.
Enter your details as required and click Download Freeware.
It will open up a new page from where you can download Spotlight for Windows and its key.
Once downloaded, run the spotlight setup.exe and click Next.
Selected the destination path for software installation. Click Next.
On the new window, it will give the confirmation that Spotlight on windows will be installed on the path we have entered in the last step.
Once installation will finish, click on Finish.
Now it will create Spotlight shortcut on your desktop. Click on Spotlight icon on the desktop and it will launch the application for you.
On spotlight windows, click on PLUG icon. It will open up all connection windows. On all connection windows, double click on a New Connection. Enter the connection name, it this example we are entering it as Test Connect / AvoideErrors.net and click Ok.
On Test Connection Properties, Enter the IP address or the computer name of domain computer. Enter your domain name and domain login information.
Domain user will be the person who will have administrative permissions on domain computers.
In this case, we will check for the local machine. So to check for the local mahcine, click on the checkbox Local Machine.
Once you click on Local Machine, It will change the box. Now click on Ok.
On All Connection windows, click on AvoidErrors.Net and click Connect.
It will ask you to enter the key. Enter the key that was downloaded and click Ok.
Now select the session for how long you want to monitor, We have selected 1 hours as an example. Click OK.
It will show the detail resource utilization of the system.
Now it’s showing all of the system resources.
