Download Offline Maps in Windows 11

The Maps app is already on Windows 11, and you can use it to get directions to almost any place on Earth. But when you don’t have an internet connection, the app won’t work the way it should. This can be a bummer if you’re traveling and you’re somewhere without network coverage.

You can download offline maps that you can use even if your computer isn’t connected to the internet and this guide will show you how.

Download Maps in Windows 11 for Offline Use

Press Win + I to open Settings.

Go to Apps and select Offline maps.

Click on Download beside Maps.

Select which continent your prefer and the specific country and press Download.

You’ll see a Choose Region button next to other countries, like the USA or Canada.

Click on the down arrow next to a region to download an offline map for that area.

Under Maps, you’ll see any maps you’ve downloaded.
