FIX: Excel Runtime Error 13
Excel Runtime Fault 13 is a runtime error that regularly affects MS Excel or its XLS/XLSX files, in addition to the Excel runtime errors 1004, 32809, and 57121.
It usually occurs while launching an application that uses the Visual Basic (VB) environment. The issue arises when Excel users attempt to execute VBA code with mismatched data types. Thus, Excel displays runtime error 13: type mismatch Excel.

Open and Repair Utility
Click on the File and select Open.
Browse the location and folder where the Excel file is stored in the window that displays.
Select the Excel file you wish to open and fix from the ‘Open’ window.
Select Open and Repair from the drop-down button beside Open.
Click Repair to recover as much data as you can.
NOTE: If fixing the file fails to recover the data, repeat steps 1 to 4 and then choose the Extract Data option to restore the spreadsheet’s formulae and values.
Re-install Microsoft Office
Go to Control Panel.
Click Programs and select Programs and Features.
Look for Microsoft Office and right-click on it.
Select Uninstall. Follow any on-screen instrcutions.
Run the MS Office installation procedure again to reinstall MS Office on your PC.
