Fix File Upload Option Not Visible in Microsoft Forms

Recently, users have complained that the forms’ file upload function is not working. Either the option doesn’t appear at all or it does but is disabled and greyed out.

To simply keep track of the information gathered, the data obtained from the forms can be saved to Microsoft Excel. One of these forms’ most helpful features is the ability to upload files. If the file upload option is hidden in Microsoft Forms, continue reading to enable it.

Enable file upload in Microsoft Forms

Open Microsoft Forms and click the triple dots in the upper right corner.

Select Settings.

Below Who can fill in the form change it from “Anyone can respond” to “Only people in my organization can respond.”
