How to Add or Delete a Location on Weather App on iPhone

When planning a trip to a new city or country, it’s normal to want to keep tabs on the weather changes there.

The weather app allows you to monitor weather changes in as many locations as possible with a swipe! You can monitor hourly forecasts and even up to 10-days forecasts of multiple locations.

However, you must first add the locations on your weather app to achieve this. Here’s how

Add a Location on the Weather app on Your iPhone

First, Open the “Weather” App and tap the list icon on the right lower part of the screen.

Next, type the name of the city, country, or zip code of the location into the search bar – located at the top of the screen. You can also type in the name of an airport.

Then, tap the selected location from the list provided: a weather forecast of that location should appear.

Next, select “Add” at the top right corner of your screen.

And that’s it; the selected location will be added to the list of locations you have.

Delete a Location on the Weather app on Your iPhone

First, launch the Weather app and tap the list icon at the lower right corner of your screen.

Then, swipe the selected location to the left and tap on the red trash icon to delete.

Or,

Tap the three encircled dots at the upper right corner of the screen then, select “Edit List.” Then tap the minus sign beside the location option you want to delete.

Lastly, tap “Done” and that’s it!
