Editing your payment methods on your Apple devices is easier than you think. It can be done using the Settings option on your iPhone or in the App Store on your Mac.
People often change their payment methods either because of card expiry or when they need to add a new card to their Apple ID account.
If you fit into this category, here’s how to add or remove your payment methods on Mac OS.
Add or Remove Payment Method on macOS
From PayPal account information to credit card details, adding or removing payment methods is pretty simple on macOS devices.
Here are the steps below.
First, start up the App Store on your Mac.
Then, select your Apple ID name at the bottom left of the screen on the Discover page.
Next, click “Account Settings” at the top right corner of your screen – beside the Redeem Gift Card option.
A summary of your account information will be displayed on the new Windows. Check the right side of the screen, then click on “Manage Payments.”
Through this option, you can
- Remove payment method: To do this, click on “Edit.” This displays billing records and payment information. Next, select “Remove Payment Method.“
- Add a new payment method: Click “Add Payment” on the Manage Payments page. Then select your preferred payment method and fill in the required information. Then, click “Done” in your screen’s lower right corner to save.
You see? It’s pretty simple to change your payment methods on the Mac, like how it is on your iPhone or iPad.
