How to Block Notifications on Windows 11

Depending on your perspective, system and app alerts might be beneficial or annoying.

They’re useful when your system is down, but they may become a nuisance when a notice displays for every email. This is how you can entirely disable notifications in Windows 11.

Use settings to block notifications

Press Windows + I to open Settings.

Click on System and go to Notifications.

Toggle off the Notification option.

Exit the Settings app.

Disable Individual App Notifications

Open Settings on your PC.

Select System and click on Notification.

Ensure that your Notifications are on to allow Notifications from apps and other senders.

Scroll through your app list and enable or deactivate the applications that you wish to get alerts from.

Disable Notifications with the Registry

Press Windows key + R to open Run.

Type regedit and click OK.

Navigate to the following path:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PushNotifications

Double-click on ToastEnabled and change the value from 1 to 0.

Click OK and exit the Registry.

Restart your PC.
