The fastest and quick way to set your default browser in Windows 11, just navigates to the default apps settings menu. To do so, click the Windows Start Menu and search for “Default apps” then click the top results.

Now, scroll down a bit and select “web browsers” then choose your favorite browser you want to be the new default (ex: Google Chrome)

Now scroll down a bit and click “set defaults by app” and select Google Chrome. Here, you can specifically categorize apps to be used for a specific task.

Make sure that you have set the default browsers for both HTTP and HTTPS. Once you have done all this, your default browser will simultaneously change to your favorite browser. Now you are all set.
