The easiest and quickest way to change your Windows 11 volume is through the Quick Settings menu. To do so, all you need is to click the Quick Settings button in the lower right corner of your Windows 11 taskbar.

Once you get to the Quick Settings menu, please navigate to the volume icon, click the volume circle and drag it right to increase your system volume or left to decrease your system volume.

Moreover, in the Quick Settings menu, you can also mute your Windows 11 sound output entirely by ticking the volume icon beside the volume slider. Once you do so, the volume icon will have a small “X” instantly beside it.

You can reverse these settings by clicking the icon again to unmute your system sound.

You can also adjust your Windows 11 PC’s sound settings through Windows Settings. To do so, right-click the volume icon in your Windows 11 taskbar and select “Open sound settings.”

Once you get there, locate the “Output” section and click the device you want to adjust the sound level for by ticking the circle next to it.

Drag the volume slider right or left to make your Windows 11 sound output louder or quieter.
