There are many factors involved in slowing down the computer but the most important can be your computer’s hard disk. The hard disk is the only mechanical part in the computer which makes computer systems slower.

As all the computer components are communicating with each other using high-speed electronics circuits but the only hard disk is the component that uses the mechanical motor for rotation of disks during reading and writing from the disk.

During reading and writing on the disk, there are many software’s installed on the computer performing this job simultaneously. If your computer stops responding or responding slowly you can check which program is reading or writing on the disk.
