How to Delete Windows from Task View in Windows 10

Windows 10 is user-friendly and makes a lot of tasks to do with ease as compared to its previous versions. It is much more organized than its descendants. Task View is an essential feature of Windows 10.

It helps you to switch between the desktop applications running in your system and enables you to look at all the running apps in a single window.

Deleting a window from the Task View is very easy. This article will help you to delete a window in the Task View.

Delete Windows from Task View

Navigate to the taskbar of Windows 10 and click on the Task View icon to open the different windows running in the desktop background. You can also open Task View by simultaneously pressing Win + Tab on your keyboard.

Task View window will open with the current windows of different applications.

Press the Right Arrow key to move the selector from one window to the other in Task View. A white rectangle will move from one window o another in Task View.

Now, move the selector to the window that you want to close. Press the Del button from your keyboard. The selected window will be deleted at the same time.

Sometimes a window in the Task View remains open after selecting it and pressing the del button. It happens because of your unsaved work in that window, and blinking light will appear on the icon of that window.

Click on the icon with the light blinking on it. Save your work by clicking on the save button.

The window will be closed immediately after saving your work.
