How to Fix Backup Error in Windows 11
Although the Windows 11 backup error is common, it is not fatal. Like any software, the built-in backup feature of Windows 11 may occasionally encounter a variety of issues.
It’s possible that the backup won’t advance; Windows 11 automatically starts the backup without your consent or the backup fails with an error code.
DISM Command
Press Win + R to launch Run dialog.
Type cmd and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter.
Type in DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth and press Enter.
Using System File Checker
Press Win + R to launch Run dialog.
Type cmd and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter.
Type chkdsk:/f and press Enter.
After scanning, type in sfc /scannow and press Enter.
Update Drivers
Type Check for updates in your Windows search bar and select Open.
Choose Advanced options.
Click on Optional Updates and select Driver Updates.
Press Download & Install.
Restart your PC.
Uninstall the latest System Updates.
Press Win + I to open the Settings.
Click on Windows Update and select Update history.
Click Uninstall updates.
Select the latest update and press Uninstall.
