How to Install New Theme in Power Point 2016

Microsoft PowerPoint is an application that is most widely used for making effective and attractive presentations. From school going students to the top management professional, MS PowerPoint is in their daily use. There are many pre-installed themes available in MS PowerPoint, but the good news is that a user can add a lot of different themes from the various platforms.

This article is based on adding new themes to MS PowerPoint. There are many categories to choose an ideal theme for a perfect presentation based on your needs. You can download and install new themes by following the below steps.

Install New Theme in Power Point 2016

Click on Start and start typing PowerPoint in the search. Click on Microsoft PowerPoint application on top to open it.

On the main screen of PowerPoint, click on the Blank Presentation.

Click here to download new themes from Microsoft.

Look for the desired theme and download it. The file type will be Microsoft PowerPoint Template.

Save the file in any of your system directories.

Now go to the blank presentation, click on the Design option and expand the designs.

Click on Browse for Themes in the bottom.

Select the theme which you have already downloaded from the system directory and apply the theme to work on it.

You can also add the themes by clicking on the Themes on the home page of PowerPoint. The themes page will be open in few seconds depending on the speed of your internet connection.

Select the theme you want to install in the PowerPoint.

A new page will open displaying the size of the theme in KBs. Click on Create to install and add the theme in PowerPoint.

The new simple design slide can be added by clicking on New Slide on the top.

Write the text on the newly added theme.

The next time when the PowerPoint will launch again, the downloaded theme will be displayed at the home page of the application.
