How to Install Un-Verified App on Windows 10
We sometimes need to install some of the software’s or hardware drivers that are not registered or verified by Microsoft. In this case, we get a notification that the app you are trying to install is not a verified app from Store. This is the added security features in Windows that block the files that are not verified by Microsoft.
To turn off this feature follow the following steps so that you can install any third-party application that is not verified by Microsoft. Click on start menu and type settings, on the top you will see settings Windows app.
Click on it to open the windows settings for your Microsoft Windows 10.
In settings, click on apps. It has all the settings required to configure applications on your computer.
In apps and features, on the right side, you have the first option Installing Apps. By default, this option is set to Allow Apps from Store Only.
There are three options in the dropdown menu, the first is Allow Apps from Anywhere, Warn me Before Installing Apps from Outside the Store and Allow Apps from the Store Only.
Change this option to allow apps from anywhere and close the application settings window.
You can also go to the settings by clicking on Don’t want to be warned in the future? Open Settings.
Now you can install any application either if you have built your own or a third party but not verified by Microsoft.
