How to Restore the old Task Manager in Windows 8
The modern task manager in Windows 8 can be a little confusing to a lot of users.
To restore the old Task Manager in Windows 8:
1. Download the following ZIP file and unzip the TM folder and just copy and paste the TM folder to your hard drive.
2. Note: Right click Computer and select Properties from the context menu to check the version of Windows 8 you are running – 32-bit or x64. Mine is 32-bit
3. Double-click on the appropriate reg file . e.g. install_x86.reg file if you have Windows 8 32-bit like me, otherwise click on the install_x64.reg file.
4. That’s it! No need to reboot.
