How to Enable a Screen Recording on your iPhone 13

Like most iPhones, the best and only way to create a screen recording on your iPhone 13 is through your Control Center.

To access the Control Center, swipe down the upper-right corner of your screen. This will display some shortcut options, including the screen recording icon (it looks like a circle in another circle).

Tap on it and wait for the 3 seconds countdown – your phone should begin to record after the countdown.

To confirm if your iPhone 13 has started screen recording, check the upper left corner of your screen; the clock should turn red. The screen record icon should also turn red.

When you want to stop screen recording, repeat the steps outlined.

How to Activate the Screen Recording Feature on Your iPhone 13

If you can’t find the screen record icon on the Control Center, there’s no need to panic. The screen record option is usually deactivated by default. So, you will need to activate and add it to your Control Center. Let’s show you how;

Select the Settingsicon on your screen, then scroll down and tap Control Center.

Under the More Controls list, tap the green +button beside the screen recording option. It will automatically move to the list above, the “Included Controls” list.
