How to Show All System Try Icons on Windows 10

The small section on the bottom right corner of the Taskbar is known as System Tray. It is the place on your computer where system icons such as action center, battery, network, and speaker appear on the screen of Windows 10.

You can add or remove the icons in the System Tray to access them quickly from one place.

Some running apps always run in the system tray and their icon in the system tray indicates that they are running.

As the system tray is small in size, so all the icons of the running apps cannot fit in this place. So, by default, the running apps which are not shown in the System Tray go in the overflow menu (small arrow next to the system tray). If you want to change this default behavior, you can do so by making little changes in the settings.

Here is the step by step process to show all system tray icons on Windows 10.

Show All System Try Icons on Windows 10

Right-click the system tray and select the “Taskbar Settings” option.

Scroll Down to the “Notification area” section. Click on the section “Select which icons appear on the taskbar”.

In the next window, enable always show option and you will notice that all the icons in the system tray will be visible.

Now go back to the Taskbar Settings window and select the option “Turn system icons on or off”

In the next window, you will be able to switch on or off all the system icons. If you turn all the icons to the ON state, they will be visible in the system tray.

These changes will also affect the newly installed apps and these will automatically start showing in the system tray without going into the overflow menu.
