How to Turn Off Animation Effects in Windows 11

Windows 11 has a lot of new features, and even though it doesn’t look all that different from Windows 10, it has some pretty cool graphics.

The controls and other parts of Microsoft’s latest operating system use animation effects by default. Some of you might not like these changes, though, and want to turn them off for whatever reason.

We’ll show you how to do this step-by-step, using two very easy ways.

Settings

Press Win + I to open Settings.

Go to Accessibility then select Visual Effects.

Click on the toggle button beside Animation effects to turn it off or on.

Control Panel

Type Control Panel in your Windows search bar and select Open.

Set the View by to Large icons.

Select Ease of Access Center.

Click on Make the computer easier to see option.

Unselect the box for Turn off all unnecessary animations (when possible).

Click Apply and OK to save your changes.

This won’t take you more than a few minutes and doesn’t require a lot of technical know-how.
