Remove icons from the notification area – Windows 7

Transfer Windows and Installed Data to Another Hard Drive

1. Right click the Task-bar and click properties from the context menu.

2. Under Notification Area, click on Customize…button.

3. To remove system icons, Click on system icons on or off.

4. Under Behaviors click on the drop down to select on or off make sure is off to remove the icon for the notification area

5. Then click OK, Apply.
