How to Turn On/Off Location Services in Windows 10

If you have ever used window 10 and thought how to turn on/off the Location Serves or when the software asks if you want to turn on your location to know where you are in the world, and you probably don’t know how to turn off and on your location then you are on right place to look for the answer:

Basically, there are two types of settings in window 10 which should know by the user of windows 10:

As for the first one, you need to Log on to your Windows 10 device using an admin account.

Simply Go to Start Menu and click on Settings and Click on Privacy button. One left pane of the window, click “Location” which would be next to “General”.

There you go, now scroll down to Choose apps that can use your location, and use the toggle button to choose apps that can access your location.

After all, if you want to turn off /on location services for your device, you can do it by clicking on the toggle button that just popped-up when you try to change the current settings.

Here is another and quickest way to get instant access to the Location on/ off Service options is by using the Action Center. Now, the Action Center is that additional menu you can open up on the right side of the computer’s display by clicking on the button from the system. As a matter of choice, you can also open up the Action Center by pressing the Windows logo + A key on the keyboard of your computer.

People’s Action Center buttons can vary. It’s rare to see people’s Action Center looking to expose than mine.

But all Action Centers should at least offer the “Location” button for you to click on that directs you through to the Location Services. It is the simple and quickest way but also present in 2017 program windows.
