How to Turn on Sync settings Windows 10

Nowadays, we are using multiple devices to stay connected with our friends, family members, and businesses. We also have a lot of data that we are gathering from our mobile phones, computers, tablets, laptops etc and we need this data to be available everywhere, where ever we want to access it. At this point, we need to sync the data across all devices. This sync gives us instant access to the data we have on all of our devices.

We also configure our devices with a specific configuration that meets our needs and we want to match those settings across all of our devices. It comes handy while using Windows 10. We can sync the settings across all devices. When Sync with devices is on, your apps can automatically share and sync information with all your devices.

Turn on or off Sync settings in Windows 10

Open the start menu and choose PC setting.

It will open up settings windows, click on Accounts.

Now when you click on accounts, it will open up all of the accounts information.

In the left side, there is a last option of Sync your Settings. Click on sync your settings option. It will open up a windows with all of the option of your settings you can enable sync of.

To get details on how sync work, click on the link How Sync Works? Below that, there is option sync settings, by default it will be turned off. Click on this and it will turned from gray to blue and rest of the other sync options will also be turned on for you.

Once these settings are turned on, your machine/laptop settings will get sync with your other computers signed in with Microsoft account. By default, it will sync themes, internet explorer settings, passwords, language preferences, ease of access.

Now you will have same settings across all your devices.
