How to Remove Node.exe in Windows 11

Node.exe is an executable file created by Joynet, Inc. It serves as a binary file that contains all the necessary components for running Node.js applications on a Windows PC.

This file is crucial for managing key functionalities within an application, such as file synchronization and input-output operations like disk access.

The Node.exe file operates continuously in the background, offering a platform for developing dynamic web applications and other server-side programs.

Via Task Manager

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager.

Right-click node.exe and select End task.

Disable the startup service

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager.

Look for the Startup tab on the left side.

Right-click node.exe and Select Disable.

Restart your Computer.

Uninstall Node.js

Press Win + R and type in Control Panel.

Select Uninstall Program.

Look for Node.js and press Uninstall.

Follow the instructions and wait until the application is uninstalled.
