Being a professional, you must also be using LinkedIn to keep yourself updated with the industry and your colleagues. In this article, I will explain how we can connect your outlook.com account with LinkedIn so that you will be able to get the LinkedIn information of the person who is sending you the email whenever you get an email.

For this purpose, you need to connect your LinkedIn account with your outlook account. Follow the following steps to link your outlook account with a LinkedIn account.

Go to outlook.com and log in with your username and password.

Once you are logged in, click on the people icon in the left options bar.

This will open the people section and this will display the list of people / contacts added to your account.

Click any of the contacts whose email address is saved with the contact.

On the right side of the windows, click on the LinkedIn tab.

This will ask you to connect your LinkedIn account.

Click on Yes, let’s go.

On the new pop-up windows, Microsoft will give you the notification View LinkedIn profiles within outlook.

Click on Continue to LinkedIn.

Now you need to enter your LinkedIn credentials to sign in to LinkedIn. Click Sign In.

Once you sign in, you will get a message Connect your LinkedIn and Microsoft accounts. Click Accept to continue.

Once done, you will now be able to see all LinkedIn profile details in your Outlook.

This will also give you all of the LinkedIn profile information on the Outlook desktop version as well.

For this, click on the people section in Outlook for desktop and then select the person you want to view the profile of.

Double click to open the contact details and then click on the LinkedIn tab. This will give you the LinkedIn profile details.
