Microsoft gives an email platform in the shape of Outlook.com. It is the email service provided by Microsoft to enable its customers to avail the email services for free. Microsoft registered emails are also used to sign in to your Windows 10 account.

The dark mode is the attractive and most liked feature in different apps including google chrome, MS Office, and Windows 10. Outlook.com also provides the dark mode feature to facilitate the users with the comfortable black display.

Enabling dark mode in outlook.com is a straightforward task, and this article will guide you to enable the dark mode in outlook.com. Follow the steps given below.

Go to www.outlook.com to sign in to your outlook.com, Hotmail.com or msn.com account. Click on the Sign-in option at the top left of the Outlook window. Enter your outlook account credentials to log in to your registered account.

At the first page of your outlook mailbox, click on the settings icon at the top right of the opened window.

Quick settings will open, you can see that Dark Mode feature is disabled. It is the by default settings of your outlook account.

Click on the button in front of the Dark Mode option to toggle it to enable the dark mode. As soon as the option is toggled, the theme of your window will be changed.

Navigate to your inbox; all the emails are visible in dark mode. Sometimes, you may feel that it is not comfortable to read the email in dark mode.

Dark mode of outlook.com gives you the light feature. Click on the Lights icon to enable the light in dark mode.

The email preview is now available in Light mode, or you can say that lights are ON in dark mode.

You can also turn off the lights by clicking on the Light off icon as displayed in the image below. That’s it with this article. I hope that this method works well with you.
