Whether you want to share a picture, video, file, or voice recording, the steps are quite easy. Apple has created an effective and easy way to transfer data between iPhones and iPads without external apps. This is made possible with the airdrop feature.

Here’s how you can share data with friends and family quickly.

How To Share Photos Or Videos Via Airdrop

First, activate Airdrop on your iPhone

Next, launch the Photo App and tap Library to view all the pictures and videos.

Then, tap Select at the top right corner of your screen and select the pictures and/or videos you want to send.

Next, select the share button in the screen’s lower-left corner. Afterward, tap Airdrop.

Then, select the device name you want to send to. Afterward, the receiving device should receive a pop-up menu. The individual should tap “Accept” to receive the sent photos or videos (or both).

How To Share Documents Between iPhones Or iPads (Or Both) Using Airdrop

First, open the Files app on your iPhone and select the location from which you want to send files.

Next, tap the encircled three-dot button at your screen’s top right corner and tap Select.

Then choose the files you want to send and tap the Share icon at the lower part of the screen.

Afterward, select “Airdrop” and choose the device name you want to send to.

On the receiving device, a pop-up menu will appear. Tap Accept to receive the files.

And you’re done! Easy right?

The airdrop feature can also be used to share notes, voice recordings, and more. All you need to do is repeat the steps outlined.
