How to Turn On/Off Gaming Mode in Windows 10

Windows 10 includes a latest game mode component that has been added. It can advance your Windows 10 Personal computer and brings improvement in game performance and outstanding possible experience. Game mode is now working for Xbox, play station and Win32 games equally.

Precedent to sending creator and unique updates and it has an added game mode for true game lovers. When you enable the mode in Windows 10 it will give priority to the game and close other applications to reduce loads on the Computer resources.

These resources come in use for increasing the user experience of the gaming. Game mode feature is in the visual testing and available for insiders but Microsoft is working very fast on this project so that they can send this intensification in the coming Creator updates.

Turn on or off game mode on Windows 10.

First getting started, you need to check your computer supports game mode then press the (WIN + I) for the shortcut to open the computer Settings app and click on Gaming.

Further, select the game mode tab on the left side. You can see a text saying “PC supports Game Mode”.

Next, move to the Game bar tab and find out the keyboard shortcut which we’ll later use to open Game bar. By default, it’s (WIN + G)

When you are in the game then press the (WIN + G) keyboard combination to open the game bar. Next click on the Settings icon which is on the extreme right.

In the next screen that opens, check the box labeled “Use Game Mode for this game”. If you want to disable Game Mode later, just uncheck that box.

Now close the dialog box. You need to restart the game for the changes to take effect. Follow the same process and disable the options that we have enabled to turn the gaming mode off.

    Has anyone here noticed any difference in performance with Game Mode? Cause I haven’t. I’m using an iGPU right now but I’ll be upgrading to an Nvidia GTx 750 Ti SC very soon.
