How to Turn Off Insecure Content Warnings in Google Chrome. When you open a website in Google Chrome, the browser may display a security warning that says “This page has insecure content.

To disable this warning in Chrome, follow these steps:

  1. Right click on your Chrome shortcut icon and select properties.
  2. Add/append “–allow-running-insecure-content” to the text in the target.
  3. Apply changes and restart Chrome.
