How to Pin Messages in your Message App

If you are familiar with WhatsApp, you should be familiar with the pinning feature. This feature allows you to pin important contacts/groups at the top so you can easily access them.

For people who engage in several conversations daily, it may be easy to miss out on important messages. If you are in this situation, this feature will come in handy!

Thankfully, with the new iOS 15 update, you can do this on your Message App. Best of all, you can pin up to nine contacts or groups.

Now, you can access important messages within seconds.

Follow these steps if you don’t want to miss important texts on your Message App.

Firstly, open the Message app.

Then, search for the contact or group you’d like to pin and press and hold it for some seconds. When you do this, a drop-down menu should appear.

Next, select Pin.

Or, you can simply search for the contact or group, then swipe right and tap the yellow pin icon. Alternatively, you can swipe completely to the right to pin your message.

Pinned contacts should appear as circular icons at the top of other messages.

To Unpin pinned messages on your Message App

First, launch the Message app and press and hold the selected contact.

Then, tap “Unpin” on the new menu.
