There is a windows builtin tool for problem recorder. This tool basically records each and every click and the events logs for during troubleshooting which makes is easier while sharing the problem you are facing with tech support or any of your friend and/or family member to help you out.

Follow the following steps to start windows problem recorder and start working on it.

Click on start menu and start typing Record steps to reproduce a problem. Or go to Run menu and type PSR. It will open up windows problem recorder tool for you.

Now click on Start Record button. Once you press the Start Record button, It will start recording the every mouse click. Every button pressed from the keyboard. Steps Recorder doesn’t record password base text that you type except the function keys and the shortcut keys.

Some programs like capturing while watching the full-screen movie or playing games may not be captured properly. It will not work if you are using it while troubleshooting any issue via remote desktop sharing.

Now go through the steps you were performing and having the problem. Reproduce the issue and/or error you were getting while performing any task. If you want to add a comment while performing the action, click on add comment button to add any comment. Once you are done, click on Stop Record.

Once done, Enter the file name and select location where you want to save the log file and then click Save. (Please note it will save the file in ZIP format and in that ZIP file, there will be an HTML based webpage like file which will have all of the steps.)

Now you can share that ZIP file with tech support or any person which is going to help you to fix that issue.
