Turn Off Windows 10 Sign In Animation

Whenever you will create a new user account in Windows 10, it will show you a set of animated detailed preparation screens, followed by a welcome tutorial orienting you to the new ways of doing things. If you do not happen to like this sequence of animation screens and tutorial, you might want to disable it.

If you ever find yourself setting up and testing multiple accounts, sitting through that initial user sign-in animation can quickly become tiresome. If you find yourself in the position where you want to enable or disable user first sign-in animation in Windows 10. Here’s how you disable or enable user first sign-in animation in Windows 10.

Type “Local Group Policy” in the search bar. Click and open the Local Group Policy Editor on your operating system.

Click on the “Computer Configuration” option to open it. Now, click on “Administrative Templates.”

Click on “System.” And scroll down to look up for “Logon” option. Click on “Logon.”

After when you will click on “Logon” on the left, look for  “Show first sign-in animation” on the right pane and double-click on the option to expand it.

By default settings, the “Not Configured” checkbox is checked because it isn’t configured to be disabled or enabled.

You might need to change this to the “Disabled” setting by clicking on that checkbox and then click on the “Apply” mentioned below and press “OK” down the bottom to apply the changes.

Once you close the Local Group Policy Editor window, the appropriate changes are made for the first sign-in animation to be gone the next time you go to create a new Microsoft account.

Obviously, you can always reverse the changes by following the same steps and then clicking on the “Not Configured” or “Enabled” the box to get it done again.
