Disable Built-in Keylogger in Windows 11
Windows 11 has a built-in keylogger that keeps track of your keystrokes so that it can guess what you are typing or check for spelling mistakes. Since the April update for Windows 10, it has been used on Windows operating systems.
Your typing data is sent to Microsoft so that it can improve its services and make the user experience better. Text prediction can be helpful in many situations, but some users want more privacy when it comes to their data.
In this guide, we’ll show you two easy ways to turn off the keylogger.
Turn off inking and typing personalization
Press Win + I to open Settings.
Click on Privacy & security and locate Inking & typing personalization.
Turn off Personal inking and typing dictionary.
Select how much data is collected
Press Win + I to open Settings.
Go to Privacy & security and locate Diagnostics & feedback.
Click on Diagnostic data to expand the option and toggle off Send optional diagnostic data.
This is a great way to protect your privacy if you want to go above and beyond. Not only will you know what you type, but you will also know what websites and apps you use.
