Like interior housing designs, everyone’s phone differs. But, of course, the general build and outlook of most iPhone devices are the same; that is indisputable. But, the font size, language, and, most importantly, wallpaper contribute to the “interior design” of your phone.

Wallpapers are one way to make your device look like “your own.” They allow you to customize your device’s outlook and screen based on your taste, feelings, or emotions per time.

If you want to change your wallpaper from the typical iPhone wallpaper, follow these steps.

You can use the wallpapers provided by Apple or choose one from your gallery.

Let’s see how you can choose one from Apple.

First, open “Settings” on your device and tap Wallpaper.

Then, select “Choose a New Wallpaper.”

On the new screen, different types of wallpapers will be displayed – tap on your preferred type and choose a wallpaper.

Dynamic – These wallpapers change and react based on your iPhone’s movements.

Stills – These wallpapers are stationary.

Live – As the name implies, they are live – they are animated photos that react when held for a bit.

After selecting your preferred photo, you can turn the perspective zoom On or Off.

If the perspective zoom feature is left on, your wallpaper will move whenever your phone moves.

Next, tap “Set” in the lower right corner of your screen.

Then, choose between “Lock Screen,” “Home Screen,” or “Both.” This determines where your wallpaper will be displayed.

How to Set Customized Wallpapers

There’s an alternative way to set up your wallpaper using personal pictures. Here’s how.

First, open Settings, then tap Wallpaper.

Next, tap “Choose a New Wallpaper.” Then, scroll down and select the album you want to choose your wallpaper from.

Now, select the picture you want to use. Next, turn on/off the perspective zoom and move or adjust the wallpaper to how you want it to be displayed.

Then, tap Set and select “ Home Screen,” “ Lock Screen,” or “Set Both.”

Or,

Launch the Photo App.

Then, tap Library to select your preferred photo. You can also select “Albums” and choose your picture from an album – this will make your search easier.

After selecting your preferred image, tap the share icon in the lower right corner. Afterwards, scroll down and choose “Use as Wallpaper.”

Next, make the necessary edits – move and scale or turn of perspective, and tap “Set.”

Finally, select “Home Screen,” “Lock Screen,” or “both.”

There you go!
