How to Run Disk Cleanup in Windows 11
This software repairs common computer errors by replacing the problematic system files with the initial working versions. It also keeps you away from critical file loss, hardware failure, and repairs damages made by malware and viruses. Every version of the operating system since Windows 98, including Windows 11, has included disk cleanup.
The Disk Cleanup program is still available, but the most recent version has a little more sophisticated form that is accessible through the Settings app that enables users to swiftly free up storage space.
Drive Properties
Press Win + E to start File Manager.
Click “This PC”
Right click the C: Drive and select Properties
Click on Disk Cleanup to start the app
Select all the checkboxes under Files to delete and click OK.
Click Delete Files in the prompt to confirm.
Clean up the disk using Run
Press Win + R
Type in “cleanmgr /VERYLOWDISK” and press OK.
After pressing OK, you will receive a report of how much space you’ve managed to free.
Remove temporary files
Press Win + R
Type in “%temp%” and press OK.
Press CTRL + A and Press the Delete key to delete all files
