How To Password Protect Emails in Outlook

You only need one password to manage them all, so don’t try to remember them all. With this specialized password organizer, you can store all of your passwords securely in one location and access them quickly.

Outlook email users can wish to keep their correspondence private. Specific emails cannot be password-protected in Outlook.

A password can be set up for an Outlook user’s PST data file, though. By doing this, a password will be applied to all emails in your Outlook user profile.

Make PST Password

Open Outlook and go to File.

Select the Account settings and press the Account Settings option.

Click Data Files tab  and choose the PST data file that needs a password.

Click on Settings.

Select Change Password

Leave the Old Password field blank and enter your New Password.

Enter the password again in the Verify Password.

Press OK to save your changes.
